993s are beautiful. Surprisingly I’ve only ever seen one in the wild (not including C&C events and the Porsche Werks Reunion) once while going to see a movie.

Haha thanks. As do you! Yeah, I just saw a rolling chassis Targa going for $7500 and a rusted out 911T going for $21,750 on DuPont Registry . Outrageous.

When the bubble bursts....I’m having one. Maybe even a few if I can get my hands on the cash. A slate grey original 911 and a Metallic Black 964. HAHAHA!

Live in Memphis and Nashville. I see a pretty healthy mix of all generations of 911s. It just really surprises me that you never see any 993s because the SF car scene seems pretty vibrant from what I can tell.

Well to be fair the traffic is pretty horrible so I wouldn’t want to subject a 993 to that if I had one. There’s a healthy showing of 993s at car events but not really on the streets cruising around. The ones you see tooting around here are the newer 997s and 991s.

Me too. I used to think Porsches were “all the same” and then something just happened a few years back and now I’m inflicted with the Porsche bug so bad. I want ALL the Porsches. 356s, 964s, 912s, 997s I want them all!

It clicked for me after working in an independent Porsche shop for two summers and buying the Porsche expansion pack for Forza 4. I’d rather own a 911 than a Corvette now. And look at my name. I think that’s saying something.
